Ronald Reagan National Airport (Washington) - DCA (3 miles)

Shuttle Bus

Metro Subway
  • Board the Blue Line train. Be sure to pick the train that is heading in the direction of the "Largo Town Center Station" — this will be the train on the right hand side of the platform when you reach the top of the escalator. (Be careful: Yellow Line trains run on this same track. Be sure to board only a Blue Line Train)
  • Travel to the 9th stop, "Metro Center Station"
  • Follow the signs for the "11th Street" exit
  • At the top of the last escalator, turn left down 11th Street and walk 1½ blocks. The hotel will be on the other side of the street located at the corner of 11th and E Streets.
Taxi Cab

Taxis are plentiful at all exits of the airport. The cost will run $12.00 to $18.00 or more, depending upon the number of passengers, climatic conditions, and the amount of luggage. All taxi cabs in Washington, D.C. now use meters to calculate the fare for each ride. The “zone” system of the past has been replaced by the new meters.

Dulles International Airport (Washington) - IAD (20 miles)

Washington Flyer & Metro Subway
  • From the baggage claim area follow signs for "Door 4" and the "Washington Flyer" — a ticket counter is located just inside the outside entrance to "Door 4" (From the airport the buses run every 30 minutes on the quarter hour. On weekdays, the first bus departs at 5:45 AM. On weekends and holidays, the first bus departs at 7:45 AM. On all days the last bus leaving is 10:15 PM. The cost is $10.00 one-way or $18.00 round trip.)
  • The "Washington Flyer" bus will take you to the "West Falls Church" Metro Subway Station
  • From there, board the "Orange" train heading in the direction of the "New Carrollton" station
  • Exit at the "Metro Center" subway station
  • Take the "11th Street" exit
  • At the top of the last escalator, turn left down 11th Street and walk 1½ blocks. The hotel will be on the other side of the street located at the corner of 11th and E Streets.
Metro Bus & Subway
  • Locate the Metro Bus stop outside the baggage claim area
  • Board the "5A" bus — the cost will be $7.50 (Click here for "5A" bus map — These buses leave the airport every 30-40 minutes)
  • Travel to the "Rosslyn" Metro Subway Station
  • Board either the "Blue" or "Orange" train heading in the direction of the "Metro Center" subway station (The "Blue" train will be identified by its last stop of "Addison Road". The "Orange" train will be identified by its last stop of "New Carrollton".)
  • Exit at the "Metro Center" subway station
  • Take the "11th Street" exit
  • At the top of the last escalator, turn left down 11th Street and walk 1½ blocks. The hotel will be on the other side of the street located at the corner of 11th and E Streets.

Union Station (Rail - 1 mile)

Metro Subway
  • From inside the station, follow the signs for the "Metro Subway Station"
  • Board the Red Line train heading in the direction of the "Shady Grove" station
  • Go to the 3rd stop and exit at the "Metro Center" station
  • Take the "11th Street" exit
  • At the top of the last escalator, turn left down 11th Street and walk 1½ blocks. The hotel will be on the other side of the street located at the corner of 11th and E Streets.
